6. Lyme park in Cheshire
People around the region said sometimes a phantom funeral still silently passing by, around this Lyme park to mourn for Sir Piers Leigh, who died of serious injuries in the battle against French in Meaux 1422. Go after the funeral is a ghost dressed in white, probably the wife of the late marquess.
7. Lanhydrock farm in Cornwall
According to rumors the place is inhabited by many many ghosts, including the ghost of a man hanged by Royalists in civil war, right at the gate of the farm.
8. Hughenden villa in Bucks
The late prime minister Benjamin Disraeli and the first lady Mary Anne seemed too attached to Hughenden villa in the countryside that when they died their ghosts have chosen this place as where to reside.
People often said they saw Disrael in the basement, in the smoking room or under the stairs with a big smile as if greeting guests.
9. Powis castle in Powys
Powis visitors said, they often saw a woman dressed in black and had the feeling of being touched by an invisible hand. Also in the backstage, the haunted piano still occasionally plays a serenade even though the room is empty and locked.
10. Belton House, Lincolnshire
Those who've seen 'Monsignor in black' said he's a tall man, courteous because he always wears full black, black suits, black hat and black coat. The man often appeared in the queen's bedroom in the palace.
